Do you really want recruiters to find you?

Of course you do.   Recruiters can be a lifeline for you to a company or to a hiring manager.  Think about it.  Recruiters are in daily contact with the very people you want to meet!   They have a stack of job openings that need to get filled.  They spend most of their day looking for qualified candidates!

Your goal is to make the recruiter “smile and dial” when s/he sees your resume or online profile.  This happens when a recruiter reads your online profile or resume and smiles—big smiles—because you match the job posting s/he is trying to fill!  The smile leads to “dial” which means they pick up the phone and immediately call you to schedule an interview.
